I am selling my Volvo S40 T4 Phase 1. Being the Phase 1 it has the arguably stronger engine of the S40 generations.
It currently has 70500 miles and going up slowly due to COVID. The car runs excellently, starts first time and makes no knocks or bangs on any kind. It pulls well through all gears. During my ownership, I have fitted a boost gauge in the vehicle tastefully on the ash tray lid in order to measure boost levels. I have also had welding work done at Severn Valley Motorsport to the offside rear sill as part of its MOT to the total of £240. I’ve also fitted a genuine Volvo rear Lamba sensor to sort out the fueling which was £170.
Through June and July 2019, the vehicle received a new cambelt and water pump, brake fluid change and brake overhaul, new brake hoses, two front tyres, new wiper blades, new battery, new thermostat and a full service. This was all done at 64000 miles and now only has 70500 so the car is fully sorted.
It also comes with the private plate S40HPT which cost £250 and us now valued at £400. It’s a really nice touch for the fellow Volvo enthusiast.
The car polishes up beautifully which has been difficult to do due to snow so I’ll include a link to a video tour of the car only a few thousand miles ago.
