Steering Lock Failure
Yes I had the very same problem 3 weeks ago my MY17 D5 PP wouldn't start.
It took Volvo assistance 6 hours in total to recover the car.
This was a Saturday so the car didn't reach the dealer until Monday.
The Steering lock was replaced at a cost of £508.
Luckily my 3yr extended warranty covered the cost.
