Hi Matt,

I have a 340, so this may not be of any use to you - I don't have any experience of the 360. Also, please forgive me if this is obvious and you have done it already.

My heater became erratic a few years ago and the garage were unable to sort it out. I removed the blower, took the case apart (required a bit of coaxing) and cleaned the carbon brushes, etc. The brushes were not very worn (not bad for a car which was then about 13 years old) and it has worked fine since.
