We sent it back to the garage to check it out because the performance when we bought it was really bad, but they couldn't find anything wrong.

I actually thought it wasn't an injection at the time, even though the insurance document said it was and the 'i' was missing from the "1.8" of the badge. Volvo Customer Services said it wasn't an injection when I gave them details regarding the car, but the Volvo garage said it was after they serviced it. (And all this because I couldn't get the protective cover off the engine to see if there was a carb or not).

Anyway, if you guys reckon that 1.8i should be "nippy" then perhaps there is something wrong or maybe I am spoilt by the T4 (better not buy a T5 then) :-)

Seriously though, does anyone know a good way to check the performance ?
I suppose a 0 - 60 test should give me a very rough idea of whether I'm just expecting too much !
