Without doubt this article is the most informative and well illustrated piece that I have ever read/seen on the subject. I am going to replace the thrust bearing and therefore the complete clutch this spring and your post will be clearly printed and put on the garage wall for reference. I have read the Haynes manual but your thorough description makes the job far less daunting.
