Finally got around to doing another oil change, 12,500 (2.5 years) since last, is that too much.. more than I would usually but been busy lately. it wasn't totally black, still a bit brownish
anyway at the same time ran about 8.5ltrs fluid through the gearbox as well which includes about 2.5 ltrs from a quick initial drain and fill.. on the third 'gibbons' it was coming out reasonably red anyway and I figured that will do.
previous replacement fluid was 3 drain and fills about 15k ago (just over 3 years)
went for drive 20mins or so, got it all nicely warmed up, checked levels, all fine, no warning messages, call that a win and good for another couple of years
MOT this month as well, fingers crossed but it usually goes through fine
