Motor drawing too high a current? Potentially due to -
Blocked with dead leaves
Water damage
Short in one of the coils
Worn bearings
Dirty or worn carbon brushes
Permanent magnet losing its strength
In short, you probably need to get the motor out (a bit fiddly) and do some testing on the bench.
