I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the price of having a tow bar fitted to my XC60 please.

A couple of years ago it was around £900 and now it is £1500......

Is this a big job or is the car already "ready to receive" the bar and it is a case of bolting it on and plugging it in.

Could an independent Volvo workshop fit it, if I could get one, or would you always go to a main dealer please?
