No way would I put up with the utter mess of third party charging, etc - no matter how much I hated Tesla. If I felt that strongly about avoiding Tesla, I'd be buying a hybrid if I needed long-range motoring and it had to be something electrified for BIK reasons, or similar.

Let’s be honest, Elon has set a high benchmark when it comes to the whole EV subject. Buying a Tesla wouldn’t be a bad choice because EV’s are all they do and the Tesla dealership network is geared exclusively to that. It’s not a bunch of techs that work in a dealer where they have a “specialist” that only visits every other blue moon and then you car spends another week in their car park.
The whole Tesla network is dedicated so that would certainly appeal to me. Sadly, I won’t be buying an EV anytime soon but I’d certainly look at a Tesla if I did
