Charger reliability will always be an issue but if there was a bigger network so you had more choice in a local area it wouldn’t be a problem.
Once again a result of too much, too quick without thought to the infrastructure including petrol which could have a bank of chargers. There’s still much work to be done before this becomes user friendly

Those are fair points...unless you have a Tesla, as they've really nailed all that stuff (or are at least miles out in front with it). If I were regularly charging away from home, I wouldn't have anything else, for now. I don't have strong feelings about the cars (although don't dislike them either), and certainly don't love Mr Musk, but you're buying access to the infrastructure and the well thought out processes, and that's the most important thing with EVs at present.
No way would I put up with the utter mess of third party charging, etc - no matter how much I hated Tesla. If I felt that strongly about avoiding Tesla, I'd be buying a hybrid if I needed long-range motoring and it had to be something electrified for BIK reasons, or similar.
