Your right about the cost and availability of flywheel parts - I just had to pay £600 for a duel mass flywheel +200 for the pressure and friction +another 100 for the bolts and bearing!
The main dealer said there is a wait of at least a month for flywheels!
my clutch was half worn after 150000 miles but the duel mass flywheel was completely knackered, and the push bearing was slightly rough .
