If you can afford it then it's definitely worth paying for private, my mate had his done there and had the same experience as you.

We are very lucky to have the NHS and the staff were all absolutely amazing, the amount of abuse they had to put up with just from patients on my ward was awful though! It's no wonder they're short staffed as they work 12 hours shifts and get treated like cr@p.
