I've never tried it, so I can't confirm for sure. I wouldn't advise trying it though, in case you end up in a place you shouldn't!
If you needed to stop quickly in an emergency, why would you select the EPB? Without stating the obvious, its an electronic
parking brake, not an emergency brake.
Surely if you needed to stop quickly, you'd slam on the brake pedal and not touch the EPB? I would have thought that would be more of a natural instinct.
