Doing the repair in that video isn’t really too bad a job. I had to do it last September. The worst part is gaining access to the flexible drive shafts. I did this by releasing the front of the seat cushion, which is a bit fiddly. To align the seat afterwards I got the seat to the front-most position and then checked by manually turning the shortened driveshaft that the troublesome side was also on the end stop. Seemed to work OK.
