Hi. My 2019 xc40 has a problem with unlocking the tailgate from the keyfob and the cabin button. Both don't work.
It's possible to unlock manually from the tailgate handle. It also works from the kicker sensor (which is strange that it even has that function as it doesn't have the power assisted open)
The dealer says it may be a software update at a cost of £180, but this might not even resolve the issue. Obviously I'm not keen to go ahead.

Also, the tailgate only pops the lock but doesn't raise fully open. Is this normal? Or are the gas struts knackered?

Anyone else had a problem like this?
