I run mine in B mode everywhere as I have it in 1 pedal drive mode (creep mode turned off and B mode selected), something that is only available on the Extended Range models, not the earlier T8's (11.6kwh batteries and smaller).
You can regain a good bit of range using B especially if you find a good downhill stretch but I mainly use 1 pedal so I dont have to go anywhere near the brake pedal for the vast majority of my drives.
