Default The rise of SilverBrick begins

Ok, so now my Jeep is more maintenance than revival, I can get on with my poor neglected 960.

First few issues are:-

Replace the leaking PAS lines.
Replace duff thermostat.
Replace brake fluid.
Replace driver's door hinges and mirror.
M.O.T.
Investigate torque Converter never locking up.
Investigating "lifter tick".

This is roughly the order they will be done in, however the investigations may be done alongside the replacement tasks. But these won't stop me getting an MOT, which then allows me to road test any fixes.

Any thoughts on the lifter ticking, it sounds like just one, and it did get quieter in use when I was daily driving it, but didn't go away entirely?
With it sitting for months, it is now as noisy as ever.
Will this be a camshaft off, job ultimately?
