Just undo the bolt and let it drain without running then engine. You should get around 3 litres. Refill the same amount and then drive the car 10 miles at least and then repeat. Doing that 3 times will get you to 85-90% new fluid.
When done, check the level by removing the centre plug of the drain plug with the car level and engine running with gearbox warm, allow the excess to drain out, refit the centre plug. If nothing comes out then add 1/2 litre and repeat.
Your 2012 car uses AW-1 / jws3324 spec juice…..

Hi Tannaton, thanks for the info but you have thrown a bit of a spanner in the works for me there as I used JWS 3309 as per the Haynes manual I was using, is it likely to cause problems?
