The EGR valve kept "sticking" and causing the engine to loose the abilty to rev up. It would do it randomly during warm up and was getting very frustrating, if not dangerous when pulling out of junctions!
Since cleaning the EGR the car has not had the issue again. Only been a few days but fingers crossed the iuuse does not come back any time soon
