Not too sure what your issue is but if this is related to the ABS unit and the warning light intermittently coming on, there are two versions of the ABB controller. If like me you have the older metal plug in version, as far as I know it does not have the solder joint problem. What can happen is that there could be a bad connection on one of the pins that plug in, or the earth strap on the engine is faulty. For the former, you could try cleaning the pins with a wire brush and contact cleaner. That worked for me.
