Every single car built will develop some sort of issues in its lifetime... it's not a case of if, but when. They're machines, they wear out, stuff fails for a variety of reasons and they need bits replaced and they need maintained. You may find a perfect, flawless example for sale... but that won't last long. I've had my V50 for 6 years, my sister's had two over the past 5yrs so that's about 11 years and probably 150k combined - never had ABS issues, never had a key stuck. Stop worrying about "What if" because if you live you're life by that mantra, you'd never have a relationship, travel, live... because "What if..."
