Default Aftermarket Subwoofer Install

Today I made the first step to installing my trusty Alpine SWE-815 into my 2018 V90.

With some trial and error, I was finally able to source an extension cable for the existing "High performance" aka standard amplifier, meaning I could tap into the front woofers without cutting or altering any of the factory wiring.

Had to custom wire some taps onto the extension cable, but it's tested and works great to feed the external subwoofer amp!

Next step is to install the wiring to the boot and make sure it's all tidy. (Waiting for a nice clear few days)

If anyone is interested, I feed into a wavetech linkDQ to turn the high level to low lever for the rca connectors.

This little device is amazing as you can use it as a preamp boost and eq for the sub frequencies.
