I'm gutted I am writing this advert, but unfortunately my ability to park this one up and save for working on at a later date is not possible for me, I simply have too many projects, therefore this one will have to go.
1994 440 1.6i - VERY basic, charmingly so.
It has approximately 87000 miles on the clock.
No MoT, and the timing belt broke at idle speed. Suspected valve damage, ultimately you would have to strip the head off and either renew any bent valves, or replace the engine.
Good points? It's not the rustiest out there, the arches are going but it's far better than my other 440 and 460.
I'd desperately love to see this one saved, but I'm offering it as spares or repair, to whomever buys it.
Located in Port Glasgow, about twenty minutes by car from 'Glasgow' Glasgow, easily within the UK motorway network.
To add: It shouldn't be too hard a job to do, it's a single cam Renault F Type engine, and parts should be still available. I also know of one breaking for spares. Sadly, my commitments mean I can't hang onto it to do it myself.
