Default Turbo removal s60 d5 facelift

Back in a D5 S60 again sooooo happy about it. Well I was till I developed an issue.

In neutral car will rev cleanly through the range.

Had a engine system service required few days back ( not scanned with vida yet as my laptop is with a friend due back shortly)

But lacks power and today cut out on me.

swirl flaps are disconnected but thought these were redundant below 1500rpm so going with coked up turbo.

Questions are 1, do these additive cleaners actually do anything to clean this out.

Questions 2, Have found a video removing on the euro 3 engine which didn't look too bad but on the euro 4 engine is the turbo removal doable on a driveway or do you need a ramp.

I'm pretty competent with the spanners but is this doable without dropping anything major off?

Looking forward to solving this as its a much nicer car than the v60 vea engined car I just got rid of!
