A Volvo dealer has told me they have seen keyfob problems when batteries other than “Volvo batteries sold by our parts department” are fitted. The Volvo batteries are £6 each. Can this be true? What are your experiences with “Branded”batteries vs “Volvo” batteries for a keyfob? Thanks.
Can you test the voltage of the batteries with a multimeter to verify the charge? I've had "brand name" batteries come from internet sources that have little charge in them...
