Just pulled the connector off now and tried to reseat the wires. Plugged back in and it started first time. It may require a more permanent fix than just pushing the wires back in, but at least I know it's nothing more.

you need to buy a repair terminal from volvo , the locking tag must have broken , it will let you down again very soon with all the diesel vibration .
