Many thanks to all who replied....
So. The whole reason behind this post is that i bought a used st of clocks off ebay a year or two ago so that i had a replacement when i sent mine off....
i thought the new ones MAY cure my stalling problem but it didn't!!!
it does not appear to overrun like it used to sometimes but still stalls!!
At least i have a speedo that works correctly...ish....no night lights but hope to cure soon...
