I've just started reading this thread and I've got a couple of suggestions. Please forgive me if they've already been said, I haven't read all the previous 3 pages.
- You have the TF80 AWD transmission and a software update became available in circa 2015/2016 which improved a number of issues, so it is definitely worth trying.
- Next time you think the car is playing up, move the gear lever over to the left and drive the car in manual mode for a while. In manual mode I think I am correct in saying that in gears 3,4,5 and 6 you should have torque converter lock at normal driving speeds for those gears - i.e. the engine RPM should be directly proportional to the road speed with no flare on increased throttle. Try that and see how it feels.
