Not sure where the VCM is located (might be in the boot) but you really don't want to mess with this module. A replacement unit will cost ~£1,500.



Actually, that may not be unreaonable given the time it'll take to access the module, replace the batteries, put it back together and test the system.

Hi Lexman I’ve found the VCM unit it was not hard at all, but at the time I thought it did not contain the battery, however I’ll go and have a look later on, if I do manage to get another battery from the dealership do you know if the car needs to be reset to show it’s had a new battery in
