Re my post in October, I had another DSTC incident, once again in Spain / Portugal, again descending quite steep twisty roads so lots of braking and steering.
After a few minutes of "resting" the DSTC warning goes away.
No permanent memory of the problem was stored in the car's system - or if it was the dealer did not menntion it at the next service.
