I need to put a bicycle rack on a 2007 V50, and the tow ball type seems to be the best choice.
One ebike only:
- ride ebike to ferry,
- ride ebike to car on the mainland
- remove bike rack from V50, install on tow ball
- after day's chores, find on-street parking
- remove ebike, store rack
- ride ebike back to the island.
No wiring needed, just the tow bar. It will never be used to tow a trailer.
Scrap yard shopping in Auckland is limited if I specify tow bar off a V50 or S40.
What other Volvo models use a tow bar that would fit the V50?
