Had a result yesterday on filter parts from a main dealer.

Rang the main dealer I normally use to find out prices for the fuel filter and air filter. Parts were busy. So I rang a different one about the same distance away.

Guy said if I bought 3 of the four filters he could give me a special promotional 'trade' deal of 40% off, for a limited time only. I said do you mean one four, fourteen or four zero forty as I thought I'd misheard. No four zero forty.

Bit his arm off and bought genuine Volvo air, fuel and oil from a main dealer for £53.14.
The price for the fuel filter alone that I was getting from factors was £40+.
