I use a single hook wind up and they have the tendency to slide on the spring as the spring is not flat and make the hook only touch a small edge.I can tell you if they slide to the same side it is not easy to get them in place again.
I use a small vice grip to keep them on place.
The hooks were made by Monroe and should work better .
