Pulled out everything I could, all looked fine, clean and tight. The invoice from the dealership does say they checked CEM and connections, but was worth another look especially as the radio playing up is new.
Was hoping I'd see some water damage. Shame. Was an informative exploration though.
Next week I'll try to figure out whether the windscreen is indeed leaking. I'm hoping it is, because at least it could explain things.
