Cars do go faster with tuning boxes. That's a given but you won't be able to tell how it's achieving this because the fuel figures are corrupted.
The corruption is also the reason why economy "improves" because the computer calculations are based on inaccurate lower fuel pressures.
The dpf data will be of some interest but how long are you intending on keeping the box connected for the sake of curiosity?
The state of the EGR long term would be interesting too considering the rich fuel mix caused by the box.
I think the only positive is that when you're done, there'll be no shortage of takers for the box so you'll at least get your money back.

What I would hope to do is take readings before and after. Not sure how detailed vida goes with specific measurable data though as I'm still reasonably new to it.
I plan to run it over a full tank and work out mpg by taking milage reading and brimming the tank again. I'll try and get a pre/post egr picture too but make no promises!
On my last car I had quite a savage remap 136bhp to 180, so doing from map to box I should be able to give people some good comparisons for this particular product - and if I can get some time off to get up north I can it dynod too!
