HaHaHaHa... I should have known...
Haida, Michelin, Pirelli, Hankook, Uniroyal, Goodyear.
As many suggestions as there are answers.
Everyone has his own preference - it's almost as bad as asking a group of car enthusiasts which engine oil is the best. It's like bloody religion!

Seriously though - thanks for all of your input! It is truly appreciated.
For starters, what am I after?? Well, I've always put way more focus on performance than I have on comfort and wear rate. But I am of course getting older and I'm probably unlikely to ever track my C70. So seeing as it is a daily, I will allow those more trivial factors to have a little influence on my choice.

On the many BMW's I used to own, I was always very pleased with various ContiSportContact. But I gather that no one here has tried them on their Volvos...?
I tried the old Goodyear F1's at one stage, and wasn't at all impressed! I will admit though that I have heard that the newer Assy's are meant to be heaps better.
Michelins and Pirellis could of course also both be options though I confess that I have minimal experience with both.
Hmmmm... what to do???
