Thanks everyone really helpful perspectives as always. I'll keep this thread going through to rolling road stage. I am inclined reading everything and considering what else I've done to go down the same route as Russ and go for the tubular approach. Should match well with my simonz exhaust. I'm imagining it will clamp up to the head with my inlet as the original does.
