S80 2.4D ECM urgently needed, must be new.

Took my 2008 S80 to Volvo after it cuts out with no warning lights or other messages or warnings of vibration, noise, etc. and they tell me they want £1200 to supply and fit what turns out to be a reconditioned unit!

Car always restarts after taking the key out and 2 minutes elapsed. Slight judder as it drives.

I'm gutted after finally coming back to Volvo and buying this car only two weeks ago - the guy advertised it as faultless but clearly decided to mask it to sell the car rather than paying for it himself - there really are some unscrupulous people about!

Can anyone help?
