Having a 96 940, I don't have the luxury of a trip computer, so I do it manually!

Its 16.5 gallon fuel tank (75L) when brimmed with Shell V Power Nitro+ can get me around 450 miles with general use (60 mile motorway commute every day with a wee bit of city driving thrown in when not working) - equating to 27mpg, or 525 miles when I kept it at a steady 56mph on the way up to Newcastle last month. That's just about 32mpg.

Not bad considering my handbook states 25mpg!
