Whilst they have no right to the street, people are protective of it and see it as ''their little bit of property''
For people dumping cars in residential areas and floating off for days on end with work with no regard to people living in the street where they have parked, it would be a good idea to knock on a few residents doors, as a matter of courtesy, saying what they intend to do. You never know, that person may say ''park in my drive'' or ''park over my drive'', ''buy us a beer''.
