Sounds like it won't go into gear as its leaking, so no hydraulic pressure as such. You say it's leaking from the shaft to gearbox bearing, I would think when they've had the shafts out to replace the gaiters theyve nicked the gearbox oil seal when putting the splined part of the shaft back in. This results in the pressure when the clutch is depressed being enough to blow the seal completely.
