That is very very true, but before the Hush Mat, Carpet/insulation, and a couple of other comforts things I wanted to add, the car Weighed in at under 2500 pounds as you can see below. Now if I left the AC off, and left the car as basic as the original car was, then I wouldn't have added much of anything over all.. These figures below is with everything and simulated fuel, and I as only missing the back seat and extra comfort items that I felt was mandatory for a daily driver..
Keep in mind also, that there is a benefit in the additional weight when it comes to the new horsepower being planted on the ground, and it isn't like I was asking the B18/B20 to perform with the additional weight. If you ask me, I would gladly trade the additional weight for all the conveniences that I have gained, because this car is now as comfortable as any new car you would go buy..
I am running about a 22 gallon fuel tank over the rear axle for a reason, and that is because I plan on trying to do a cross country time trial race in the near future, and wanted to make sure that I had extended fuel range.. This car is getting about 26mpg highway at the 600+ horsepower at this point, so if I thought the extra fuel weight was going to play against me in competetion, I just don't have to fill it up all the way.. LOL

I had a problem getting Volvo X totally level, and that is why you will see the variation in the cross weight, and that is cause by the floor affecting the contact points on the scales.. It was way to cold to switch the cars around, but I will definitely do that on the final weigh in..
