on the transmission side, the 72 was the 1st year the 140s had the short shifter so if you get a hold of the m45-b20 bellhousing you could put in a much more common m46 rather than looking for an m41. those bellhousings are not common but i know there is a place where you can buy them and in sweden i think there are a few cars kicking around with the b20 in '76. we got that bellhousing here in iceland on the c202s (one of which i own) but good luck finding one and then good luck getting the person who owns it to part with any of it...
