Its not that difficult. Once you have removed the door liner you unbolt the window and remove the motor and winding gear all in one piece. If you have got a Haynes manual or similar it guides you through the process. Go to a scrap yard and remove one. Once you have removed it test it on a battery at the scrap yard.
