I got my info from the Parkers website.....1997 S70 CD auto at 1376 kg and a 1999 V70R AWD (phase 2) at 1665 kg

I would be surprised if the difference in weight really was 290 kg, but without a doubt my S70 is a little less hefty than my V70 was.
