I am in broad agreement with the sentiment behind this comment, given that a trader would only want to"cherry pick"the finest crop and offer to their target audience at a considerable markup (£s over and above the price given to the hapless owner).
Possibly at play here is that many Volvos (of all ages) come onto the market with low ownership and good provenance, and the dealer sees a profit opportunity (as Volvos generally are far better value than classics of the same era).
No real harm in that except this forum is for
enthusiasts - car dealers, in my opinion will not add value to the"life"of the forum (with the exception of those retailers offering a tangible service that could be - i.e they are offering a product).
And those retailers should be posting in the appropriate section.
