Your display looks good - but I do not have a separate display - and was hoping there is someway to connect the caera feed to the existing 7" monitor that is already used for DVD, Sat Nav etc. It has a USB and AUX connector in central storage box - I was hoping to be able to somehow connect to that rather than having to strip the dashboard apart.
Thanks again - any suggestions from others on both cable laying and video connection very welcome

My c70 had/has reversing Sensors so i used the Live feed to them to tap into ..as for actually running the cable .. I found it VERY VERY EASY
out of boot (offside) under the rear Seats to the Door trim out of the door trim & Up the front side of the door to under the dash (Near the Fusebox) .. up the side of the Windscreen & into the sun Visor
SERIOUSLY it took me NO MORE than 10 MINUTES to "cable it up" ...
In my old BMW 1 series I used a blaupunkt Portable Sat Nav that too had a "AV" in port & would override the Sat Nav if Power was applied to the AV port
I would tend to THINK that the software in the Volvo Sat Nav would be the same ... (Power to AV Port gets Priority) therefore connecting it to the Reversing Lights would "Power" the sat nav to display a Rear View from the Camera
Is the AUX connection just a "RCA" plug type ??? (OK just re-Read yer first post & IT IS!! ...SO . THIS WILL WORK I ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE IT WILL

Coz I USE THE VERY SAME on my Security Cameras around the outside of my house
EDIT HERE***** I just realised you may NOT be able to use that above (as there is NO WAY to Configure the Sat Nav Screen ect ..So ...
USE THIS INSTEAD >>>>>

Thats "Phono" (From the Camera feed) Converted to AUX ("IN" for the AUX connection in the car) ... that WILL WORK ( I have a Portable DVD player with the same set up & use it to "Test" my cameras for Clarity & Focus before doing the full Wiring job on my Security Camera Network
Hope this helps
