But most of the content on here comes from folk like me who are often learning as we are typing. So sometimes the best guides start off with a question and end up being a learning journey!
Different people get stuck with different bits too, having these hidden away in a sticky section where regular forum helpers might not look as often would result in poorer help offered.
If you needhelp changing oil then just ask, its been covered on here before and is dead easy!

I take your point which is also right but the angle I was coming from was that as a newbie, it would be quite helpful save searching through 101 pages to try and seek things that I could do myself that there was just one thread.

Maybe we should create a poll with a view to creating a Top 10 thread of helpful tips for newbies?
