A piggyback ecu is a unit that sits on top of the factor ecu and intercepts the signals to factory ecu allowing control over fuelling and timing etc. When you research you will find after 235bhp it is hard to find anyone who can tune the T4 ecu. I didnt fit my afr gauge, my mate did it in 3hours for 30quid. Im **** with wiring tbh. 280bhp you will need bigger turbo, injectors, a map and exhaust at the minimum mate. It all depends on how far you want to go and how big your budget is. On standard rods you need to limit the boost to 1bar before 3500 or you risk bending the standard rods.
