How do I get into chip-tuning?

Hello, I have been trying to find resources about how to learn chip tuning, how does somebody start doing it?
I have a volvo v70 2004, 2.4d 96kw, and would like start learning on my car.
I know it can be risky, but I just havent found any videos or websites that explain it clearly, I simply heard that people who want to learn tuning on their car should go to their car forums and thats why Im here.
Where do I start? What gear should I get? What software should I choose?
I have a lot of questions and I hope someone can give me advice.
cheers

start by contacting some car tuning software company's like KESS or similar they do training and franchise opportunity's. vdash also do car tune packages via t5d5. a good working mechanical background would be an advantage . you will also need liability insurance in case you fubar a customers car:eek:

Tuning with the right software is safe on these engines, i had it done with rica
I have over 200 hp without any issues for over 12 years now.
The engine your having is the same block BUT with a smaller turbo, so the smaller turbo will limit the increases somewhat.
